Safety
Safety is a top priority at Skydive Truckee Tahoe. Firstly, our skydiving center is a group member of the United States Parachute Association. (USPA) See uspa.org . The USPA is the governing body for skydiving in the United States and sets out industry standards for safety and all regulations pertaining to skydiving activity. Being a group member, this means that we adhere to all the requirements and regulations set by the USPA in order to keep skydiving safe. We believe this is a very important consideration when choosing a place to skydive.
In accordance with this, all our instructors exceed the requirements set out by the USPA in terms of their skydiving experience and skills.
Experience
The owners and operators of Skydive Truckee Tahoe bring decades of experience in all aspects of competitive, recreational and professional areas of the sport. Mike Swanson a co-owner, is a multiple time world champion, Red Bull athlete and stuntman with over 23500 skydives. He is one of the most experienced and accomplished skydivers in the world. We believe that this should instill a high level of confidence in our operation.
Unrivalled Views and Scenery
Skydive Truckee Tahoe is quite literally one of the most beautiful places you can jump! Being the closest skydiving center to the shores of Lake Tahoe we offer spectacular views of Lake Tahoe, the Sierra Nevada mountains and the surrounding area. You will have views of the Lake your entire freefall and the majority of your parachute ride. You really get a chance to take in the gorgeous views and get some great photos and video!
A Personal Touch
Skydive Truckee Tahoe is a family owned and operated business. We are not some big corporation or 3rd party company selling skydives. We take an active and personal role in your skydiving experience, from the time you book to the time you leave, we are there to walk you through the entire process. We’ve been around skydiving for many years, and we know that this is a big deal for most people!
